Why we built Kyburn

2025-03-01

Most businesses know they should be using AI. Few know where to start. Even fewer get past the demo stage.

We've seen this pattern repeat across dozens of companies: someone buys a ChatGPT subscription, writes a few prompts, calls it "AI transformation," and moves on. The workflows stay manual. The data stays siloed. The leverage stays theoretical.

The gap we saw

The technology works fine. What's missing is the integration. AI tools are powerful in isolation, but the value compounds when they're wired into your actual operations. Quote generation, lead qualification, content production, client communication — these are the processes where AI creates real leverage.

But wiring that up requires three things most businesses don't have in-house:

Three skillsets, one conversation

That's Kyburn. Jaap brings 15 years of AI and data architecture. Julien builds the automation layer — the n8n workflows, the integrations, the systems that run without human intervention. Philippe finds the leverage points — which processes to automate first, how to measure impact, and how to sell the ROI internally.

One conversation instead of three vendors. That's the pitch.

What's next

We're documenting what we learn as we build. Expect posts on automation architecture, AI workflow patterns, and the messy reality of making AI work in businesses that weren't born digital.
